In the early '80s, when Swapan Basu stumbled upon the opportunity to create hand-painted accessories, he promptly sought assistance from his closest companion and spouse, Roma. In 1984, Roma commenced designing hand-painted bags, simultaneously developing the process and refining the method of painting over time. This family secret remains closely guarded to this day.
